This program is for all adults in the community. Participants take part in activities that match their needs and learning styles, respecting their cultural backgrounds and personal challenges. The aim is to help them use these skills for continued personal and professional growth.

Services Provided

E3 Foundations

  • This program is an outcomes-based program for adults in NS.

  • Learners may enter and exit the educational system at different times and levels based on their goals and learning journey.

  • Activities may serve as bridges to: the workforce, improved self-sufficiency, personal development, community engagement, further training (including post-secondary), and high school completion or equivalency.

  • Learners will increase their skillsets in four content area Streams: Communications, Numeracy, Digital Skills, and Learning and Work. 

E3A Employment Readiness Program 

  • This program will help participants overcome the hurdles they have regarding employability by providing workplace essential skills and life skills that will improve their chances for success in the labour market.

  • This program will enhance Reading Text; Document Use; Numeracy; Writing; Oral Communication; Working with Others; Thinking Skills; Computer Use; Setting boundaries/goals; Cooking; Hygiene, and Financial management.

  • Cultural activities are provided throughout the program through guest speakers and facilitators.

For Indigenous and non-Indigenous adults over 18.
