In the year 1725, the inaugural Peace and Friendship Treaty was signed, marking the beginning of what has evolved into a long, meaningful journey toward Reconciliation. 

To honour this momentous historic year that has been 300 years in the making, the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre is excited to announce the Weje’winen Kjipuktuk Gala - an event that will celebrate both our rich culture and the promising future of the Friendship Centre. 

2025 signifies a significant milestone in the ongoing relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people across Mi’kma’ki and Turtle Island, please join us this coming fall.
