Strategic Partnership Initiative

Let’s Work Together!

At the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre, we believe that collaboration can drive innovation and create mutually beneficial opportunities. Our Strategic Partnership Initiative aims to forge alliances that enhance our offerings and expand our reach, all while maintaining our commitment to warmth and community engagement.

Goals of the Initiative:

  1. Enhance Resources: Partnering with local businesses and organizations allows us to pool resources, share knowledge, and provide richer services to our members.

  2. Community Engagement: By collaborating with community-driven initiatives, we can foster a sense of belonging and connection that resonates deeply with our members.

  3. Innovation Through Collaboration: Working with diverse partners inspires creative solutions to challenges and helps us stay ahead of industry trends.

  4. Build a resilient Indigenous workforce for MNFC projects, offering rewarding opportunities that promote inclusivity and recognize their valuable contributions to our community.

  5. Support Indigenous Businesses: Help clients and community members learn the skills to successfully start and run a business. Offer training programs, coaching, mentorship, business plan development, and educational opportunities for new projects and developments with MNFC.

  6. Support authentic Indigenous businesses: by boosting economic growth, creating business opportunities, sharing cultural knowledge, and highlighting the positive effects on Indigenous communities.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Become a Partner: We invite businesses and organizations that align with our values to collaborate on projects and initiatives that benefit our community.

  2. Participate in Events: Join us at our networking events designed to connect partners and foster relationships.

  3. Share Ideas: We encourage input from our members and partners on potential partnership ideas that can collectively enrich our community experience.

  4. Collaborate directly with our dedicated onsite Partnership Development Officer: to enhance your experience and explore new opportunities.
