Urban Indigenous Youth Program

The Urban Indigenous Youth Program provides a variety of programs and events for Urban Indigenous Youth in a positive and supportive environment.

These programs are a safe space where youth can connect with their community, learn from others, engage in and celebrate their culture.

The youth team delivers workshops, hosts cultural events and outings, brings in guest speakers and elders for presentation.

*Open to all urban Indigenous youth ages 9-30*

Drop-In Hours: 

Every Monday, from 3:00pm - 5:00 pm in the Youth Space (Open to all urban Indigenous youth ages 12-30 )

How to sign up

A Parent or Guardian must sign a Youth Intake Form before a youth can participate in programs. These forms can be obtained in person or online via email.

Outreach Workshops

Providing educational and culturally aware workshops for Indigenous youth in urban organizations focused on youth. 

Book Club

A club for youth ages 16-30 that focuses on reading stories by Indigenous authors. We meet once a month and provide crafts and snacks.

Junior Youth

Senior Dinner

Senior dinner is prepared, served by the Youth; to build connection, share stories and learn from the Community Elders.

This is held once a month on a Tuesday evening.
