Cultural Supportive Housing Program

Black Street

Partnership with the Tawaak Housing Association to support Indigenous men transitioning from incarceration back into community. Four-unit building operated by Tawaak, designated for MNFC clients that continue to receive wrap-around support and case management via the Cultural Housing Support Worker.

Mount Hope

Partnership with YWCA and the Province of Nova Scotia to provide Indigenous women and children with permanent, supportive housing. MNFC clients that are placed into a Mount Hope unit continue to receive support and connection to the MNFC and its programs through the Cultural Housing Support Worker.
